The microsandbox-rb gem provides native bindings to the microsandbox runtime via a Rust extension (magnus). It spins up real microVMs (not containers) in under 100ms, runs standard OCI (Docker) images, and gives you full control over command execution, the guest filesystem, networking, volumes, snapshots, SSH, and secrets — all from an idiomatic, synchronous Ruby API. No daemon, no server to connect to: the runtime is embedded directly in your process.

gem nosj is an extremely fast, json-gem-compatible JSON parser and generator for Ruby: Rust and SIMD via the first-party nosj crate, precompiled platform gems with per-platform PGO, partial parsing (JSON Pointer, single and batch), lazy documents that parse a value only when you touch it, file APIs that parse, generate, and query files natively (memory-mapped, so unread pages never leave the disk), allocation-free validation, document statistics from one counting pass, parse errors that carry line, column, and a caret snippet, a one-line JSON module drop-in, and a Rails mode that plugs into ActiveSupport's encoder seam.

Drop-in Rust backend for OMQ. Same socket API (REQ/REP, PUB/SUB, PUSH/PULL, DEALER/ROUTER, and all draft types), but networking runs on a Tokio runtime inside a native extension compiled via rb_sys. Fully interoperable with the default Ruby engine.

Tyfoom's fork of the `parquet` gem (github.com/njaremko/parquet-ruby), published while the incremental streaming-write fix is pending upstream. It wraps the official Apache Rust implementation and bounds write memory by streaming row groups to disk instead of buffering the whole file. Drop-in compatible with the upstream gem: the library is still required as `require "parquet"` and exposes the same `Parquet` API.
