This Project aims to provide some convenience bindings for the Ruby-FTP base module. A first version for a GUI, written in ruby-gnome, is also bundled with it now, in the directory gui/. In general you should be able to use this project to quickly upload or download some (remote) files via FTP. Here is a short summary what has been added in the last several versions: Ability to download all specific files matching a certain criteria, such as through: download *.xz Exception handling and a new command called 'rlist' or 'list2'. Improved upload() functionality so we can upload a bunch of files. A few bug fixes, extensions of the GUI component and a commandline HELP option. When you pass HELP as first argument to the interactive ftp, we will now feedback all the help options available on the commandline. Improved uploading such as by doing: upload 7,8 The interactive component now properly tells us whether we are connected to a remote host or whether we are not since version 1.0.35. Also, the sinatra web-interface was extended. Version 1.0.39 fixed the Configuration object. It will now use the proper URL.
