A simulator for creating case and control "samples" (molecule and abundance lists) in simple or .fasta format with reasonable variance from one or more real world examples.

For help using the executable, type:

msabundancesim

In cases where gems are not convenient, the file lib/ms_abundance_sim.rb may be used as its own standalone executable with no additional dependencies:

chmod +x lib/ms_abundance_sim.rb
