Command line tools for processing messages by constructing a pipeline of workers. AMQP and Unix pipes are used to construct the pipeline. Messages are simple Hashes (serialized as YAML) so they can hold any values and change throughout the processing.

QueueingRabbit is a Ruby library providing a flexible DSL to interact with a RabbitMQ server. Any Ruby class or Module can be transformed into QueueingRabbit's background job by including QueueingRabbit::Job module. It is also possible to inherit your class from QueueingRabbit::AbstractJob abstract class. The library is bundled with a Rake task to start a worker processing a list of specified jobs.

RabbitMQ's access control capabilities are rather limited. RabbitCage enables fine-grained permission setups, you define which user can perform which AMQP method on which class.
