BIN Lookup is a BIN checker API: send the first 6 to 8 digits of a payment card and get the card brand, type (debit or credit), issuing bank and country of issuance back as JSON. Check incoming cards at checkout before you charge them.
The BIN Lookup API provides a simple, reliable way to integrate bin lookup functionality into your applications. Built for developers who need production-ready bin lookup capabilities without the complexity of building from scratch.
Quick Start
Using JavaScript
async function callBINLookupAPI() {
try {
const params = new URLSearchParams({
bin: '448590'
});
const response = await fetch(`https://api.apiverve.com/v1/binlookup?${params}`, {
method: 'GET',
headers: {
'x-api-key': 'YOUR_API_KEY_HERE'
}
});
const data = await response.json();
console.log(data);
} catch (error) {
console.error('Error:', error);
}
}
callBINLookupAPI();Using cURL
curl -X GET "https://api.apiverve.com/v1/binlookup?bin=448590" \
-H "x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY_HERE"Get your API key: https://apiverve.com
