CharsCount

Welcome to CharsCount gem!. By this Gem you can get a characters count in a string or paragraph

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'chars_count'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install chars_count

Usage

obj = CharsCount::Chars.new

string_count = obj.count("example")

Output for above example

it returns output as

string_count = [["a", 1], ["e", 2], ["l", 1], ["m", 1], ["p", 1], ["x", 1]]

or You can write code as


string_count.each do |key, value| 
	puts "#{key} is #{value}"
end

output:
		a is 1
		e is 2
		l is 1
		m is 1
		p is 1
		x is 1

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
