Load CSS and JS faster. Minifies, bundles, and optimizes CSS/JS assets ahead of time (e.g., on deploy), not at runtime. Loads popular third-party JS (like jQuery, YUI, and Dojo) from localhost in development, and auto-switches to Google's CDN in production. Lets you switch on LABjs mode to load more scripts in parallel. Can rewrite stylesheets to use CDN hosts (not just your web server) and cache-busting hashes for updated images.

Rethoth is a simple to understand, run and maintain Ruby blogging engine. Rethoth is written in Ruby and is based on the Ramaze web framework and the Sequel database toolkit. Rethoth is a modern port, to 2017, of the original Thoth created by @ryangrove. Rethoth demonstrates how to easily build a useful MVC-style app in Ruby without having to deal directly with meta-programming and DSL magic. Rethoth is an example of how to build a web application in Ruby without the need to learn Rails and ActiveRecord. Rethoth is ideal for newcomers to Ruby who have experience with other web frameworks and want to quickly appreciate the language and become productive with it.

This is an empty gem specifying a list of dependencies for RSence Additionally, you may want to install these gems also, even though they are tested for and auto-installation in tried: - sqlite3 - rmagick You must install a Javascript runtime engine separately, because RubyGems isn't smart enough to allow conditional dependencies. The V8-based NodeJS is recommended: http://nodejs.org/ If you are on OS X, you already have Apple's JavaScriptCore installed, which is fine. Previously, RSence depended on therubyracer, but it was found to be the the culprit for crashing the Ruby VM and the cause of some other random memory corruption issues, so it's not recommended until its maintainers have sorted it out. You may however proceed to use it on your own risk, if the speed gains are worth the instability. More info: http://rsence.org/
