A really great gem - very useful in conjunction with the export to upstart/inittab and other service managemant tools.

You'll need to embrace the patterns it wants from you, but once you have them applied to your app and hosting environment you'll have much easier maintenance and setup of your app processes basically for free.

The .env file feature is also super useful if you have API keys or whatnot that you are sharing between dev and production and you don't want them in your repo.

And with autoenv you'll even have those vars auto-loaded just like your .rvmrc when you cd your app dir :)
