Hangman
Hangman is a paper and pencil guessing game for two or more players. One player thinks of a word, phrase or sentence and the other tries to guess it by suggesting letters or numbers, within a certain number of guesses.
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'hangman_y'And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install hangman_y
Usage
After Installation, Run the "hangman_y" gem in your Command Line Interface. Download 5desk.txt and put it in the directory of play. Enter hangman. After the welcome screen has been displayed, proceed by entering the desired option "start", "load", or "quit".
Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
