A set of bindings between Ruby and Mapnik. Supports many of the common uses for Mapnik, and one day, might support all of them. Rendering is available using the standard AGG library, or additionally via Cairo, if the rcairo gem is installed and Mapnik has been compiled with Cairo support.

Templater has the ability to both copy files from A to B and also to render templates using ERB. Templater consists of four parts: - Actions (File copying routines, templates generation and directories creation routines). - Generators (set of rules). - Manifolds (generator suites). - The command line interface. Hierarchy is pretty simple: manifold has one or many public and private generators. Public ones are supposed to be called by end user. Generators have one or more action that specify what they do, where they take files, how they name resulting files and so forth.

Tusk is a minimal pub / sub system with multiple observer strategies. Tusk builds upon the Observer API from stdlib in order to provide a mostly consistent API for building cross thread or process pub / sub systems. Currently, Tusk supports Redis and PostgreSQL as message bus back ends.

UART is a simple wrapper around the ruby-termios gem that gives you an easy interface for setting up a UART or serial connection. This gem is written in pure Ruby. This gem relies on ruby-termios to provide bindings to the termios system call, but uses those bindings to set up a serial connection in pure Ruby.

Zenweb is a set of classes/tools for organizing and formating a website. It is website oriented rather than webpage oriented, unlike most rendering tools. It is content oriented, rather than style oriented, unlike most rendering tools. It uses a rubygems plugin system to provide a very flexible, and powerful system. Zenweb 3 was inspired by jekyll. The filesystem layout is similar to jekyll's layout, but zenweb isn't focused on blogs. It can do any sort of website just fine. Zenweb uses rake to handle dependencies. As a result, scanning a website and regenerating incrementally is not just possible, it is blazingly fast. ==== To Install:

DataMapper plugin that generates unique permalinks / slugs

ar_mailer is a two-phase delivery agent for ActionMailer. Even delivering email to the local machine may take too long when you have to send hundreds of messages. ar_mailer allows you to store messages into the database for later delivery by a separate process, ar_sendmail.

This is a ruby gem that lets you implement categorization systems with ease. Associative memory neural networks make it easy to identify probable patterns between sets of named data points. It can be cumbersome to interface with the neural network directly, however, as a typical implementation has a fixed size and training period, which limits how useful they can be to an integrated system. associative_memory simplifies these kind of machine learning models by offering dynamic input and output sets. This allows your code to concentrate on extrapolating meaningful patterns rather than juggling bitmasks and transposition matrices.

Wraps up AVCapture and exposes it to Ruby. This gem only works on OS X.
