A pure-ruby growl notifier for UDP and GNTP growl protocols. ruby-growl allows you to perform Growl notifications from machines without growl installed (for example, non-OSX machines). What is growl? Growl is a really cool "global notification system originally for Mac OS X". You can receive Growl notifications on various platforms and send them from any machine that runs Ruby. Tusk is a minimal pub / sub system with multiple observer strategies. Tusk builds upon the Observer API from stdlib in order to provide a mostly consistent API for building cross thread or process pub / sub systems. Currently, Tusk supports Redis and PostgreSQL as message bus back ends.

UART is a simple wrapper around the ruby-termios gem that gives you an easy interface for setting up a UART or serial connection. This gem is written in pure Ruby. This gem relies on ruby-termios to provide bindings to the termios system call, but uses those bindings to set up a serial connection in pure Ruby.

The Wordpress gem provides posting to a Wordpress.com blog or a self hosted wordpress by providing your username, password, login url(if you host your blog) and your blog content. With this gem, you have access to add a text entry on Wordpress blog by providing these options: title text, body text, and a tag array. You must include at least title text or body text with your post. Posting images with posts, posting only images and pulling down your posts will be available very soon.

Zenweb is a set of classes/tools for organizing and formating a website. It is website oriented rather than webpage oriented, unlike most rendering tools. It is content oriented, rather than style oriented, unlike most rendering tools. It uses a rubygems plugin system to provide a very flexible, and powerful system. Zenweb 3 was inspired by jekyll. The filesystem layout is similar to jekyll's layout, but zenweb isn't focused on blogs. It can do any sort of website just fine. Zenweb uses rake to handle dependencies.
