MultiDistinctLogger
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'multi_distinct_logger'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install multi_distinct_logger
Usage
If you are seing it first time then /test is good place to look to know about usage.
In brief :

require 'multi_distinct_logger'

include MultiDistinctLogger

Create all your logger objects

Set configuration useing class MDLogger see test_default_class_attr_accessors in test/multi_distinct_logger_test.rb

Create MDLogger instance by passing logger objects.

Use MDLogger instance to write logs into multiple log files and multiple distinct log files based on level examples : test/test.log, test/sub_test/info.log,test/sub_test2/debug.log ect..

Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake test
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
