Pngdefry

iPhone crushes PNGs with Apple's custom version of PNGCrush. pngdefry unfries them. This is a simple Ruby wrapper for a modified version of pngdefry.

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'pngdefry'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install pngdefry

To defry an image, call defry:

Pngdefry.defry('input.png', 'output.png')

If you just need the dimensions, you can simply call dimensions:

Pngdefry.dimensions('input.png')
#=> [58, 58]

1. Fork it
