Purty Color Picker

This gem embeddes the Purty Color Picker in the Rails asset pipeline.

A super lightweight visual HSL, RGB and hex color picker with a responsive, touch-friendly and customizable UI. Based on the Lightweight & Touch-enabled jQuery Color Picker Plugin - Purty Picker from jaydenseric

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'purty-color-picker'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install purty-color-picker

Add to app/assets/javascripts/application.js:

//= require color-picker

Add to app/assets/stylesheets/application.css:

/*
 *= require color-picker
 */

For modern browsers (IE10+ and recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox), mostly due to the use of CSS3 linear gradients. Support for older browsers should be possible with a few modifications.

Requires jQuery or Zepto with core and event modules.
