remodal-rails

Gem Version

remodal-rails gem is the integration of remodal.js javascript library for your Rails 4 and Rails 5 application.

Responsive, lightweight, fast, synchronized with CSS animations, fully customizable modal window plugin with declarative configuration and hash tracking. source: http://vodkabears.github.io/remodal/

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'remodal-rails'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install remodal-rails

Now you need to edit your app/assets/stylesheets/application.css file and add the following lines:

*= require remodal-default-theme
*= require remodal

Now you need to edit your app/assets/javascripts/application.js file and add the following line:

//= require remodal

Usage

Add this sample code to your template file like index.html.erb

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake false to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
