Create ActiveRecord objects using a CSV file

While Seed Fu solves the problem for inserting and maintaining seed data in a database, Seed Fu-ndo adds the possiblity to remove this data again.

Let your seed code become a first-class member of the Rails app and put it into seed objects in "app/seeds" alongside the controllers, models etc. Invoke seeds as rake tasks or from within the app/console, with or without the parameters. Progress logging included.

Seeding creates a seed.rb from your existing database. You can write queries on the rails console and it will write the results to your seed.rb. I wrote it after having to create seed files with thousands of rows and could not handle it any longer..
