Sick JS Rails - Javascript from the future packaged for the Rails asset pipeline
Sick JS in comprised of several open source Javascript libraries that can be used to make your webpage really dynamic, interactive and responsive.
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'sick_js_rails'And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install sick_js_rails
Add it to your Javascript manifest file
//= require sick_js_rails

Waypoints is a library that makes it easy to execute a function whenever you scroll to an element.
JVectorMap
Repo can be found here
jVectorMap is a vector-based, cross-browser and cross-platform component for interactive geography-related data visualization on the web. It provides numerious features like smooth zooming and panning, fully-customizable styling, markers, labels and tooltips.
Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake test to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
