CanDo is a small gem to implement a simple user access system based on users, roles & capabilites, where: each user can have 0, 1 or many roles each role can have 0, 1 or many capabilites Users have capabilities by getting roles assigned (role == collection of capabilities). Within the code, the can helper method can be used to test whether a user has a certain capability or not (see below for a working code example).

Capybara provides excellent error messages for its built in predicate methods: has_selector?, has_text?, has_title? etc.. but when those are used from Page Objects while exposing predicate methods from the PageObjects themselves the error messages are lost and all we get is "expected true, got false". Including this module into your PageObject by adding "include CapybaraErrorIntel::DSL" after "include Capybara::DSL" will return the heuristic error messages.

Capybara-UI (formerly called Dill) is a Capybara abstraction that makes it easy to define reuseable DOM "widgets", aka page objects, and introduces the concept of "roles" to allow you to easily organize your testing methods and widgets. Capybara-UI also introduces helpers and syntactic sugar to make your testing even easier.

Cartage provides a repeatable means to create a package for a server-side application that can be used in deployment with a configuration tool like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt. The package is created with vendored dependencies so that it can be deployed in environments with strict access control rules and without requiring development tool presence on the target server(s). This is the last release of cartage. It's been a fun ride, but Docker-based images are our future at Kinetic Commerce. There is one feature that remains useful, the release-metadata output. We have created a new, more extensible format for which we will be creating a gem to manage this. One example of the implementation can be found at: https://github.com/KineticCafe/release-metadata-ts We will also be replacing `cartage-rack` with a new gem supporting this new format.
