pry-suite is designed to set up a nice Pry ecosystem out of the box. You are given Pry with access to a suite of great plugins. This list is currently comprised of pry-byebug (or pry-debugger for Ruby 1.9.x), pry-doc, pry-docmore, pry-git, pry-highlight, pry-macro, pry-pretty-numeric, pry-rescue and pry-stack_explorer. Finally, the gist gem is also included to enable Pry's gist command.

Sky Trivial Debugger

This is a stupid simple example of how easy it is to make a minitest plugin that does something useful. In this case it wraps assert so that failed assertions will drop into the ruby debugger.

Poor man's debugger heavily inspired by PySnooper

A cross-version compatible shortcut for invoking a Ruby debugger that will run properly under the currently executing environment.

A set of patches to Ruby MRI 1.9.3 and 1.9.2 that adds run-time introspection, a call frame object, and other run-time support for things like debuggers.
