Safety Net::HTTP

A simple HTTP and REST client for Ruby, inspired by the Sinatra microframework style of specifying actions: get, put, post, delete.

Rack provides minimal, modular and adaptable interface for developing web applications in Ruby. By wrapping HTTP requests and responses in the simplest way possible, it unifies and distills the API for web servers, web frameworks, and software in between (the so-called middleware) into a single method call. Jetty Rails aims to run Ruby on Rails and Merb applications with the Jetty Container, leveraging the power of JRuby and jruby-rack. {Jetty}[http://jetty.mortbay.com/jetty/] is an excellent Java Web Server, being and at the same time extremely lightweight. This makes jetty-rails a good alternative for JRuby on Rails or Merb development and deployment. The project has born from my own needs ({read more}[http://fabiokung.com/2008/05/14/jetty-rails-gem-simple-jruby-on-rails-development-with-servlet-containers/]). I needed to run {JForum}[http://jforum.net] in the same context of my JRuby on Rails application. I had also to integrate HttpSessions (avoiding single sign on) and use ServletContext in-memory cache store.

A Ruby MogileFS client. MogileFS is a distributed filesystem written by Danga Interactive. This client supports NFS and HTTP modes. This is experimental fork using RFuzz HTTP client.

Multipart is a gem that adds support to multipart/form-encoded and multipart/mixed (file upload) to Net::HTTP::Post. Nothing more, nothing less. Currently it supports a file param with multiple files, but not multiple file params.

Enables rendering of the body of an HTTP response from inside a functional test. This makes it easy to diagnose problems when building assert_select statements or just sanity check the output of the test.
