`reqless` is meant to be a performant alternative to other queueing systems, with statistics collection, a browser interface, and strong guarantees about job losses. It's written as a collection of Lua scipts that are loaded into the Redis instance to be used, and then executed by the client library. As such, it's intended to be extremely easy to port to other languages, without sacrificing performance and not requiring a lot of logic replication between clients. Keep the Lua scripts updated, and your language-specific extension will also remain up to date.

A Resque plugin which allows you to create dedicated queues for jobs that use rate limited apis. These queues will pause when one of the jobs hits a rate limit, and unpause after a suitable time period. The rate_limited_queue can be used directly, and just requires catching the rate limit exception and pausing the queue. There are also additional queues provided that already include the pause/rety logic for twitter, angelist and evernote; these allow you to support rate limited apis with minimal changes.

A Resque gem for executing batches of jobs in stages. All jobs in a stage must complete before any job in the next stage is started allowing you to be sure that jobs are not executed out of sequence.
