# ImageBuilder A gem to build operating system images for various platforms. At initial release, this gem supports building images using packer to build images for the AWS platform ## Installation Add this line to your application's Gemfile: gem 'image_builder' And then execute: $ bundle Or install it yourself as: $ gem install image_builder ## Usage This is how you use the gem, should probably write something useful here. But since it's just a library gem that basically just wraps the packer utility, read this code, and the packer documentation to figure out what to do ## Contributing 1. Fork it ( https://github.com/[my-github-username]/image_builder/fork ) 2. Create your feature branch (`git checkout -b my-new-feature`) 3. Commit your changes (`git commit -am 'Add some feature'`) 4. Push to the branch (`git push origin my-new-feature`) 5. Create a new Pull Request

A Jekyll plugin for responsive images. Adds filters for setting the srcset, width and height attributes of HTML img elements, while automatically generating image variants of configured sizes using the ImageMagick command-line tools. Resized images are cached to minimize build times, regenerated only when the original source image changes. Supported image file formats include JPEG, PNG, GIF (including animated), APNG and WebP.

Apropos helps your site serve up the appropriate image for every visitor. Serving multiple versions of an image in responsive and/or localized web sites can be a chore, but Apropos simplifies and automates this task. Instead of manually writing a lot of CSS rules to swap different images, Apropos generates CSS for you based on a simple file naming convention.

xlsx spreadsheet generation with charts, images, automated column width, customizable styles and full schema validation. Axlsx helps you create beautiful Office Open XML Spreadsheet documents (Excel, Google Spreadsheets, Numbers, LibreOffice) without having to understand the entire ECMA specification. Check out the README for some examples of how easy it is. Best of all, you can validate your xlsx file before serialization so you know for sure that anything generated is going to load on your client's machine.

g1nn13 fork changes: * added buffer() method to get image buffer for writing (to Amazon S3) * added fit_within() method to resize an image to fit within a specified height and width without changing the image's aspect ratio * added resize_with_crop() to resize and crop images where the target aspect ratio differs from the original aspect ratio. This is for converting portrait to landscape and landscape to portrait. ImageScience is a clean and happy Ruby library that generates thumbnails -- and kicks the living crap out of RMagick. Oh, and it doesn't leak memory like a sieve. :) For more information including build steps, see http://seattlerb.rubyforge.org/

Optimizes given JPEG and PNG images or images in given folder. Uses several encoders for achieving the best possible lossless compression ratio and tries to employ the most advanced methods such as JPEG algorithmic encoding if available or PNG transparent pixels stripping and automatic color reduction.
